Lilian Delgado – oil on canvas

For Lilian, her oil paintings enable her to travel to any destination imaginable with its endless creativity. Whether it’s memories of a past travel or hope for a future travel, painting brings those dreams to life for her.  With this focus, she seeks to stimulate the viewer’s senses, such as eliciting the fresh scent of poppies when viewing a painting of a field of red poppies.

Born in Bahia, Brazil, Lilian’s artistic journey began at a very early age with her first international show at the age of 13.  Sunday afternoon strolls viewing local art exhibits with her mother were a pivotal point in the development of her artistic desires.   After moving to the United States, Lilian’s family continued to foster her talent by enrolling her in local art competitions on a regular basis and went on to study at the Ringling School of Art and Design.  She now resides Bradenton, Florida.

Lisa Allen - glass

Lisa’s works of art in glass are greatly influenced through her observations that the world is filled with vibrancy and endless potential.  These views have been formed through her quest to observe how beliefs shape people’s experiences in the world as well as what causes them to feel disconnected.  She seeks to explore how we interact in the world, what we believe, and how that belief directs our behavior and as a result, our experience.

These observations plus a childhood fascination with color led Lisa to choose fusing glass as her way to express her art.  It allows her to integrate blasts of color, capture depth and maintain a solid foundation of weight to her functional and decorative artworks.  Through these blasts of color, Lisa conveys for the viewer the awareness that she has amassed regarding core human experiences of tribal belonging, communication, and conflict. Lisa’s studio and home are in Memphis.

David Kennedy - oil on canvas
