Johnathan Harris – acrylic on canvas

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

His creative process starts with exploring different geographical areas.  The process ends in the studio where the actual sketching and painting takes place. Although experienced in mixed media and various techniques, he enjoys using acrylics on canvas mainly.

HIs finished artwork is bold and vibrant in statement with the use of color and strong contemporary style of painting sets his work apart from others.

Art is a tranquil retreat for Johnathan,  and he feels it saved his life. Following a serious health scare in his 20s, he turned to art for an escape and started painting seriously.

Johnathan’s focus on landscapes highlights the colors and endless inspiration, along with effect of seasonal changes and variations due to light.
