Todd Babb - sculpture

Todd’s sculpture captures the rare combination of grace, balance, and strength of the human form.  Compositional inspiration comes from a continuing and ever growing fascination with the potential of the human form – the body in motion.  To achieve the elongated form that is his signature, Todd developed a process which begins with a steel armature with synthetic resins that have been applied. The look of bronze is accomplished through a personally developed technique that incorporates the use of multi-layering of paints and other materials. 

Todd’s natural ability to carve and sculpt was fine tuned through commercial projects, including Princess Cruise lines, the Walt Disney Company, and Home and Garden Television.  He resides in the southwest Florida area.
